Re: Scribble September 2019
Quick off the blocks with this one Larry :)

Re: Scribble September 2019
Yes, I made lots of freehand lines to try and get something different. So I thought I'd post since today is the last day of the month for me and Sept. 1 in the UK or do I have it backwards?

Re: Scribble September 2019
The day moves in an easterly direction, Larry, so the new day starts where the sun rises (Japan(ish)) and then heads towards Europe and and then crosses the Atlantic and starts a new life in New York and then heads towards California and the Pacific and back where it came from.

The scribble is in the chin and neck.

OK if I understand correctly. And here all this time I thought I was a day late in the UK.

Re: Scribble September 2019
I could have explained it better, Larry, but dawn arrived on the east coast of the USA first and travels westwards from there.
Anyhoo, here's a shirt pocket made from 2 of your scribbles joined with a horizontal line.
Nowhere even close to the elegance of Rik's very clever job.

Thanks, Larry. Here's a sort of Grecian vase, possibly a bit top-heavy. The scribble is the sides.

That question, Larry, could be asked in all forums.

You've all set the bar way too high. Allow me to knock it down to basement level.

Yes it could Rik. I still wonder though where is everyone. This used to be such a vibrant place. Wish I knew the answer.

Oh, very good, Larry. I wish I had thought of that.
I would then have called it 'CLIFF - Dry Cleaners'.

Well, Larry.
I just had to use your idea. I think that's a great name.

Thanks Rik, good one. Glad you saw something in my humorous remark that you liked.

An abstract idea which might develop into something eventually and a quick fun one.

Re: Scribble September 2019
Thanks Larry. The abstract one was only a simple exploration using the scribble line - there wasn’t a great deal of thinking behind it beyond trying to make a repeating pattern!
I must say though, I am frequently drawn towards abstractism with its own visual language of shape, form, colour and line. But it can be a challenge to look at and make any sense of it.

Ah! Chris turns out you were right! Looks like it takes two to play it. Probably by thought control by physical contact with first player. :D

Very impressed. Blends in superbly. It helps that I like that style of imagery, but still...nicely done.

It's not very well known, but it's called a Xaraphone! 😁
