.....cats head ?
Incredible! I would never believe if someone told me something like this. :)
Is this water warm or cold?
What can I say - Love cats... :D
I guess the water just feels so nice on his head
See how the fur is almost 100% waterproof though
Here's another vid to dispel the myth about cats and water..
She must not have gotten any water up her nose yet. Trying to lap water from a fast running faucet stream is almost impossible. This cat has learned to lap it while it drains down its face. Very clever cat.
Nancy, there's a sequel..
With a name like 'Woody' - I'd guess this tabby is male ;)
That is hilarious. I said 'she' because I felt it was such a clever cat but now that I see it's just goofy it is understandable that it's male (runs and hides...heheh)
Wonderful stuff! Thanks Steve :D
So this is a warm water. :)
Most cats don't like a cold water. You've probably seen not once them pawing it before stepping in. ;)
Cats also can have headaches and use some medicine !

Very cute! Thanks Steve.
That's a heck of a way to get a drink of water though.:D
Quite funny.....my old 19 yr old female cat used to put her head under the bathroom sink faucet while drinking.....cold water btw.....it was a consistent practice.
I stopped her from being on the counter so she doesn't break a shoulder when jumping down....she is quite old now at 19.
You must be a good papa to have a cat 19 years old. I like that you are concerned for her health. Good for you, dear!
Hi Burpee,
Yes, she's a very dear cat to me and my wife. It's easy to be a good papa to such a wonderful little friend. She's had some health issues at different times of her life but she has overcome or been helped to overcome those issues.
She drank much like the cat in the first picture except she also used her paws by licking water off them.
Ed, she is still a beautiful and elegant lady after all these years.
Hi Burpee,
Yes, she is a lady though we most often refer to her as our little princess....only animal lovers would get that kind of endearment. She came into our lives because we lost a cat (Frodo) to a car. I cried like a baby when we lost him....I was the one to bury him.
When we got this one (Kisa) she was so tiny....I had to be careful not to put my slippers on without first checking as she used to curl up in the toe area, completely hidden. In my had she would fit in the cupped part when she was only 6 weeks old.
She really is a beautiful cat, 1/2 Persian and the other tabby....she has a very gentle nature about her now and the usual ailments of age but she's really in very good health and I expect she's good for a few more years with gentle care.
