Grunge Challenge
I've felt one of these coming on for a while now.
Here's the deal:
Any application (including any plugins)
Any theme (font, photograph drawing...anything).
Raster or Vector.
2D or 3D...or more.
Just keep it within the forum rules of decency.
No limit on the number of entries.
No prizes!!!
Bob.

Re: Grunge Challenge
Thank you, Gary. I made a few masks with Photoshop brushes and added them. So glad they would work with Xara.

Overlaid transparent bitmap textures, some (e.g. News2) from the fills gallery. It's knowing when to stop is the problem!

Here is my attempt.
Don't ask me how I did it.
This was one of those with so many steps that I lost track !

Re: Grunge Challenge
Upon further review I don't think my image really looks grungy. Textured yes, but grungy means dirty and worn. So by that definition it really doesn't fit the bill.
No matter. It was a fun exercise. I feel like I learn more about Xara Xtreme ( Designer ) from that kind of noodling around than anything else.

Re: Grunge Challenge
Well, whatever, I like it, anyway. Just make a few ragged holes and give it a torn edge and it will be officially grungy! lol
