This is Photography thread, so it isn't composite.
Yes, it maybe looks little flat because of flash and strong zoom.
Re: recent football (soccer) images
That is some camera and lens setup, can you tell us what you are using, Dmitri?
Re: recent football (soccer) images
First shot was made with Nikon D50 with 300 mm zoom lens.
Others with Canon 50D with 200 mm lens.

Yes, you guess, John, they are not my. No rich uncle :(
I have 2 friends who own these cams. So they give me one by one their cams on this match. There were bad light conditions for my Fuji S6500.
Re: recent football (soccer) images
Have you tried going to a higher ISO/ASA rating? That makes the camera take less samples and makes the camera more sensitive and you can wing a couple more shots in poor lighting. The drawback to a higher iso setting is higher noise tho... The shots are not as clean, same as using a 800 film instead of a 32...:)

Thanks, John. My Fuji is capable to ISO 1600, but acceaptable results are only on ISO 400, and on 400 it is impossible to take a sport shots. So I have to ask my friends for their DSLRs. And even DSLRs makes fuzzy shots in dramatic moments :).
Re: recent football (soccer) images
Don't I know it... My DSLR goes down to 200 and up to 3200. Although at 3200 it is a little noisy. I tried to take a few shots of motorcycles zipping by on the interstate during the Rally... It is hard enough to get a bike in the frame when they are going 70MPH(120KPH), much less getting them focused.:)
