Need to make mobile version very different to desktop version
OK - have an existing client's site with the mobile version pretty similar to desktop version.
We want to create a new mobile version that is much briefer and simpler. I've created the new mobile version as a new multiple page site (which will scroll) - what's the easiest way to remove the old mobile version from the main site file and insert the new mobile version?
Re: Need to make mobile version very different to desktop version
LGF, you can't.
The Variant(s) and Main reflect each other in the number and names of pages and the method of presentation is identical across each.
The best you can achieve is to set the design to (vertical) scrolling.
Remove all the unwanted content from the Variant. Do not delete any page.
Add in your new variant page by page.
Where you want to skip a page, just empty that page and shrink its height right down. The smallest it goes is 48px.
Switching from Main to Variant would therefore always hit very close to the right place.
You just need to fill the 48px with something that matches the site dynamic.

I guess the menu structure has to be the same in both variants?

LGF, no. Just build a separate one for Main and for Variant.
Copy across and edit if you wish.

OK - made that work!
Would it be possible to have a scrolling site?

LGF, do I have to borrow @behzad's Crystal Ball?
The example I uploaded was a scrolling site.
If, by your question, do you mean 'How do I include a NavBar into a scrolling website?' then all you do is make a single NavBar copy on the index page and make it Sticky.
