MOVIES FOR WEBSITE
Hallo
with all the technology growing I hope they have simplified the movies as well
I have three types of movies
1. the first one is a powerpoint presentation which I have converted to .mp4 but cannot get it to work on xara
2. Second a client has forwarded me a .wma format
3. Thirdly I have a .mov format as well
The question is how do i convert, add it to the website and let it play
it looks so easy on news website where you just click and it plays!
Thank you

Re: MOVIES FOR WEBSITE
I thought WMA was just for audio - Windows Media Audio?
For the others, rather than embed directly into your Xara site, why don't you upload to YouTube, which handles all sorts of versions automatically?
What version of PP did you convert into MP4 with?
What are all the file sizes?

Re: MOVIES FOR WEBSITE
i'd convert all those files to mpeg
if you don't want to put them on youtube use the html5 video embed tag
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_video.asp

Re: MOVIES FOR WEBSITE
i wouldn't upload anything that is my original content to somebody else's website
but that's just because i'm a complete cynic
there's some good tools here
http://www.digitaltrends.com/computi...eo-converters/
mobile loves html5 (and hates flash)

Thank you I'll give it a try, as you previously suggested use the 3wschools for upload.

Re: MOVIES FOR WEBSITE
not sure if it needs to be said but use a xara placeholder to include the embed tag
