Greetings!
When previewing a website the "preview" is extremely skewed and looks nothing like the original view.
When I do publish the website it looks fine.
I am using WIN 7, Extreme 5, IE 10.
Thanks in Advance!

Can't imagine what you mean by extremely skewed
Can you post a screenshot so we can see what you are seeing?
Thanks for the reply.
See attachment, the preview is on the left.Attachment 98567
At a guess you have added some code/widget or similar which is broken.
Not many people will be using Xtreme 5 for websites now, but you can post your *.xar file and I or someone will take a look at it.
Welcome to TalkGraphics crabman
Is it possible for you to upload your .xar or .web document file.
What is happening in your screenshot is the opposite of what sometimes happens in previous versions when a user has resized a text area with the Selector Tool instead of the Text Tool.
I never used to have this issue. I really don't update this site much. I just opened a *.xar backup (2010) and had the same issue.
Yes, I need to upgrade at some point.
Can I email you directly the XAR file?
I appreciate your help.
What's happening is that there is some broken code which it corrupting the formatting of the page, such as missing the closing tag to an iframe would cause..
This isn't a result of squishing text areas with the selector tool.
If you don't want to attach it, yes you can send it to me

I just imported the HTML into Dreamweaver and performed a validation and nothing popped up like a missing tag.
XARA File just emailed.
Thank Pat,
I checked your pages, nothing wrong with them that I can tell and they 'preview' just fine in Photo & Graphic Designer 6 (which is what Xara Xtreme was renamed to after version 5).
As the Xtreme preview uses the controls from your installed version of IE, have you got the latest IE installed?
Can you check this?
Another option is to download the 30 day trial of Web Designer 9 Premium or Photo & Graphic Designer 9, open your .xar with it and see how the preview looks, then make any changes you need and publish from WD9.
