How to make smooth photo transitions
Hi,
I've been playing around with this - I just want to do smooth transitions between photos. Seems like it should be simple, and it probably is, but I'm still not pleased with the result.
The easiest way to show what I'm trying to do is give the URL - it's too late to fiddle around trying to show it in this post. www.getstaged2sell.com
I tried fading the image that's leaving, then fading in the image that's next, but it isn't really smooth. There's probably a much easier way, and I'm hoping someone here knows what it is!
Thanks for any ideas.
Kathleen

Re: How to make smooth photo transitions
Hi Kathleen,
One of the ways to do it is have one photo fade in on top of the other. It's not easy to explain but I'll post this swf file then see how best to get the technique across.

Here's a mini tutorial. I hope you can follow it. Don't forget to name each photo before you start!

Here's an attached xar file. I've missed out the frames with just the single photo in them as this aids timing.

Egg!
That's just what I wanted to do! Your sample looks great. I'll study up on the tutorial and the Xar file and see what happens.
Thanks so much for all your help in putting this stuff together!

Hello again,
Thanks to all 3 of you! It makes good sense once you know how it's done.

I don't know what I'd do without this forum. Thanks again for your help.
