Larry, if I may.
Your logic would imply I could submit a black square larger and containing the scribble, also in black.
Acorn
Somehow that does not sound right, maybe I messed up somewhere, can what I did be done? YES the line submitted was black so, I used it that way. I have thought of other ways of using that line but, this is what I chose, I did not change the line color because it was already black.
Larry, I like your interpretation of the scribble rules, but I also agree with Acorn’s ‘black on black’ logic which opens the door to basically anything black!
I’ve not opened the xar file to check, but is the bitmap image and your submission two slightly different versions of the scribble line? To me the bitmap version looks more angular at the curved ends.
Anyway, I’ll have to put on my thinking cap for this month.
here is a 'clip' from an up and comming event... covid willing

Jono, same exact line
Handrawn, that looks familiar perhaps I should have colored the different parts like you did instead of making everything black than perhaps I wouldn't have caught so much flak.
I took your image and was aiming for the effect of a headband and a chinstrap to go with the cans and the mic ....
No intentional flak meant from me. In fact I was rather marvelling at your lateral thinking.
Here are the two lines I am looking at side by side. The left one is from your scribble drawing, the right is your bitmap version for download. You can perhaps see why I thought they were slightly different.

I probably cheated on the coffee mug as I've altered the line by squashing it. Luckily, I'm thick skinned as well as just thick.
