Voilą ! ;)
That was quick. :D
I've been doing Gary's tutorials for about 12 years and I always learn something new and get some fresh ideas for my own work...this was another great tutorial.

It's fun to see people's choice of music. :D
I haven't officially done the tutorial yet, but I played with the dial and this tutorial was a great reminder of the power of a conical fill!
Thanks Gary.
Hi Gary,
Did the tutorial, not being a graphics person, so far, I found it very interesting and slow for me but learned a ton....thanks very much.
I'm attaching the xar file in hopes that someone will have a quick look as I stumbled on the center piece part and couldn't seem to find my way. You can see that from my picture.
Anyway, thanks again, it was incredibly fun to do...btw, if another post shows up, one I thought I had posted seemed to disappear....
Here's my version of your sansa MP3 player, Gary. I added a couple of beveled objects to give the player a hint of depth after rotating and skewing the front panel. Making the MP3 player slip through the 'n' of the neon 'sansa' lettering was done to heighten the effect of depth.
I think my version came out quite nicely. As always, many thanks to the author of this and many other Xara Xone tutorials. ;)
Rock on,
Harry
P.S. - Some of the RGB color values in the tutorial aren't correct. Unfortunately I don't remember which ones they were now. I knew I shouldn't have eaten dinner and watched that movie. Xtreme's color picker to the rescue!
.
Thought I would give it another try and it seems to have come out better....made mistakes still, but different ones....LOL...
Thanks Gary.....
Hi Gary.
Fabulous tutorial.
I had to have a go at this one!
Particularly as I wanted to show my taste in music!
If I was totally honest, this is the first time I have managed to complete a tutorial without, in one place or another, thinking "I don't understand this bit."
So, here's my version.
Cheers.
