Thanks Burpee and Gray.
New skull done in Xara. Hope ya'll had a merry Christmas.
What, no eye balls? Looks good Mark.
Good stuff bucko. Playing around with some sugar skull ideas.
That skull kind of reminds me of Mexico's Day of the Dead skulls.
Hi graphicsbag, gray, and Burpee.
Thank you all for stopping in. Nice skull graphicsbag. I agree with Nancy, smacks of Mexico's Day of the Dead. Very cool.
You are both absolutely correct. During the Day of the Dead and other holidays, people make "sugar skulls". They are little skulls molded out of a mixture of sugar and meringue powder. They are decorated in many different ways but typically they are very colorful and bright.
For those of us who like skull art, its a good way to incorporate other influences into our art.
Here's a link to some good sugar skull info:

Interesting information about sugar skulls, thanks graphicsbag.
Attached is the latest edition in my skull series. This one is called Seven.
The colours and eagle head all go together well, Mark. It looks great.
Howdy Folks. I haven't been to the forums for awhile (busy ya know), so I thought I stop in and look around, drop a few posts, and play catch-up.
