Here's another to add to the collection:D
[Template] DropDownShadow
Could someone explain how to add new templates to the templates list? I can't seem to figure it out - where should .web files be saved to so Xara can find them?
Thanks!
:)
Lynn
Hi Lynn,
Welcome to Talkgraphics.
You can save the .web file for your templates to any folder you wish. You will need to let the Designs Gallery know where to look.
1. Open Design Gallery
2. Click the Disc Designs.. button
3. Use the Add Folder to Gallery dialog to navigate to your folder
4. Click the Add button.
Your .web files will now show in the Gallery along with the Xara provided templates.
These rather plain buttons have a surprise when you mouseover them! :D
Colorful Francis;)
I like the bottom one best!
John did you say you wanted pics:D
WOW...... Some really nice stuff in this thresd......
Maybe this is answered in another thread, but the "forerunner" of XWD (webstyle) had several template pack available for purchase (or so I've heard).
Since that product is no longer available, I'm wondering what happened to all those add-on packs?? Are they available anywhere? Are they even compatible? Maybe the graphic images, at least.
Boo
Impressive! :D Can't get it to work though - is it set up to, or is that just me? Mouseovers are there :o
I do not know if the Webstyle templates are available.
MenuMaker is still available and there is an optional template pack for that program.
The Webstyle and MenuMaker templates are not directly compatible with Web Designer. The .wix files for Webstyle and MenuMaker templates contain the graphics and they can be opened by Web Designer. It takes some skill to use the .wix file images to make a working navbar when using them in Web Designer.
