Sorry, Mike, it's working for me in XP SP3, both demo and full versions, and mixed with EyeCandy demo plugin Melt.
at the moment I'm still using the trial, so if I have this right I should uninstall the trial and download the new version before I pay for the upgrade and unlock the trial?

Exactly what I did Frances....and I did purchase XDP6........
Just upgraded to the new version with content to boot. After uninstalling the original DP6 purchase and downloading the update then pop the new content download and away you go. All was a piece of cake.

I uninstalled my "purchased" version of XDP6 and then installed the new dowload version.
When I go to Help > Download Templates I get "I.E. has stopped working" message.
Uninstalled and reinstalled, but still have same problem.
Running IE8 on Vista
Hi Zee,
I had Vista with IE8 on a laptop and it was very unpredicatable. I would suspect Vista to be the culprit here with a sprinkle of IE to boot.
I ended up upgrading to Win7 (part of the purchase agreement anyway) and the problems disappeared.....go figure?
