i get hummingbird hawk moths on my buddleia all the time but damned if they'll stay still long enough for me to shoot them

Even with patience I lose a lot of shots to insects that won't hold still. It can be very disappointing, especially when it's a species I haven't photographed yet.
But for me it's all worth it when I get a decent shot. With macro it doesn't take much movement to blow a shot.
