I have to say that I love all the "extroodles" that have been posted in this thread. :D
There has been some debate in the Xtreme forum about the usefulness of the 3D Extrude Tool. I think it is wonderful.
I have used Xara3D for several years (and versions) as well as other 3D applications like Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender, Bryce, ZBrush, and Rhino. The 3D Extrude Tool in Xtreme 4.0 is the easiest and most intuitive way to create 3D effects for logos and presentations. Xara3D is still the best for creating 3D animations.
I would not want to create a full computer generated feature with either Xtreme or Xara3D :) But for the purposes of illustrations, I do not think they can be ignored or thought of as useless. :)
The way of all teeth :D
God, I've eaten tons of that stuff. Being born there it's hard to get away from ......
I'm going to have a go at the wrapping tomorrow - later today!! It's a time-warp on here isn't it! - which should be tricky ... for me at any rate. Interesting little project though. :)
John could you enlighten us unfortunate Americans as to what Rock Blackpool may be and how it involves teeth? :D
Maybe it is Blackpool Rock?
Graham Greene maybe?
or possibly George Formby :D - my how time flies.... the things I forget..
Steve I have no idea what you are trying to say :D
Google did reveal that Blackpool Rock is a form of hard candy made into sticks.
ah well first my memory plays me tricks Graham Greene is 'Brighton Rock' :o
Second George Formby [Jnr] sang a comic song about a little stick of Blackpool Rock which we shall not delve into any further
Rock is a sweet [candy] which is hard and notoriously bad for the teeth - it come in sticks, sold at the seaside with the name of the town writ right through as shown :D
