Re: Ribbon-like interfaces (ala Office 2007)
Good point. With customisability ribbon interface would be much more flexible.
Re: Ribbon-like interfaces (ala Office 2007)
There are at least two options for customizing the Ribbon.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...54(VS.80).aspx
Requires program knowledge and at least Visual Studio 2005 Professional.
or
http://blogs.msdn.com/access/archive...ustomizer.aspx
http://word.mvps.org/FAQS/Customizat...mizeRibbon.htm
You could obtain the Ribbon Customizer Add-in.
Re: Ribbon-like interfaces (ala Office 2007)
Oh no. This is not quite comparable to the customizing of the toolbars. Is it? :D

How do you do that? Is it a custom feature of your mouse?
I just tried and the wheel over ribbons doesn't produce any action...
Re: Ribbon-like interfaces (ala Office 2007)
I haven't got used to the ribbon yet, I just haven't played with it much. I just tried rolling the wheel with the mouse over the ribbon and it changes - great.

No nothing special; just wheel-scroll over the ribbon and it changes tabs. Seems it works for others too, so it's not just my mouse.
