Re: Anyone know where to find freelance or contract work?
Hi Bill,
it seems this kind of "boss" isn't it worth that such a good guy like you is working for him. If you're able, you should offers services in the same business like him, or offer your services to his direct competitors. ;)
I wish you good luck with your interview. And for the business card design, be sure that we are glad to be a help for you. In my eyes there is nothing more difficult than create a design for themselves. Share your thoughts about the services you would like to offer and I'm sure, you'll get a lot of helpful design ideas.

Re: Anyone know where to find freelance or contract work?
For some reason, Bills old boss has made me think of that guy that ran a dropship operation and wasn't very happy with the responses on the forums..
Re: Anyone know where to find freelance or contract work?
Seeming as how I like to make other's laugh at times like these....
Bill, I have the perfect way to both show your business card and leave a memorable impression....... one word
TATTOO
That's right, once you have the design all laid out for your business card, get it tattooed onto your neck.... This is sure to leave a lasting impression... as well as make people way too scared not to hire you:D
Re: Anyone know where to find freelance or contract work?
Thank you Remi, Paul & Paul.
Re: Anyone know where to find freelance or contract work?
Today I came across rather an odd (I thought) request for a business card - to have it two sided and with different businesses on either side (the guy ran two businesses).
Seems to me that if you wanted to sew confusion in the mind of your client, it would be a good way to go. It removes the space for writing on the back of the card and makes you wonder what kind of operation it really is.

Re: Anyone know where to find freelance or contract work?
People usually put a picture of themselves on the card and all their info... Unless, you are like me and are too ugly for pictures, then use one of your art works. Try not to have too much info on the card. There is no need to cram 7 lbs of stuff in a 4 pound bag.
If the clients/boss is net savy, then have name/number and email. If they just hire the computer guy... then just name, field and number are fine. No technical jargon... Kiss... Graphics, internet, computer problems, we fix.:)

Sheesh Bill... use your artwork....
Talk about being wacked with the ugly stick...:D
Now you know why I only use pictures of the back of my head... One of these days I hope to look human.:)
Re: Anyone know where to find freelance or contract work?
Try fiverr...lots of pros and part time talent use it for sales and hiring. I have had good experiences on hiring.
