Re: Drifter or anyone else? Help (LOGO)
The only programs that I know where you can copy then paste into Xara3D are Xara X¹, Xara Xtreme, and Xara Xtreme Pro.
There are other vector editors available but none of them that can paste directly into Xara3D, that I am aware of.
Most other vector graphic applications are expensive. There are freeware and shareware vector editors available but I have very little experience using them with Xara3D.

www.inkscape.org [Edit - but see next post]
or if you have large pockets you could use illustrator I suppose
but inkscape is free and will do what you want
that said xara is faster and easier to use
you can't copy and paste from inkscape - Bill is right
Re: Drifter or anyone else? Help (LOGO)
sorry - you will have a problem with inkscape - xara3D does not open emf files I thought it did - and inkscape will not save wmf or xar
Re: Drifter or anyone else? Help (LOGO)
for the record there is a way to convert svg output of inkscape to wmf
you need to have open office draw and svg factory - also both free
but not a route I would recommend if you have a choice

Re: Drifter or anyone else? Help (LOGO)
Jinz,
Looking at your post and to answer the question you asked earlier, it looks like the example you posted had the standard grey background when you exported it. Using it on a white background will show the "jaggies" in light grey. To get the best quality match the Xara 3D background to the final background colour.
Personally, I wouldn't even think of using any other vector editor than Xara Xtreme.
Just as a note:
ALWAYS save your work as a x3d file and just export other file types separately. That way you can edit them. the animated gif that you saved your work as, cannot be edited. To reproduce it and edit it now, you will have to start again and recreate it.

Re: Drifter or anyone else? Help (LOGO)
And exactly the same transparent animation set against a grey background.
Re: Drifter or anyone else? Help (LOGO)
I think it's very clear what causes the jaggies. Match your background to the background it's going to be viewed on even if the background is going to be transparent.
Re: Drifter or anyone else? Help (LOGO)
Ok, thanks for the tip. My creatiions are coming very soon...
