I think the dreamcast is not the best example you could pick, it was also their last console (lol). But your message is clear.... :)Quote:

My final effort for this competition...
Having a subtle speech bubble makes it a smarter design. It looks good with or with out the .com attached.
Okay, this is my final pitch. I discovered that the bubble looks even better when it is more subtle. I think when you only see a hint of it appearing in against the white background it is smarter looking and less redundant since there is the word Talk as well. I believe this bubble and eye make a fantastic icon for the following reasons: Eye catching. Eyes gravitate to eyes. Eye contact is powerful. Also it has the human quality that others can immediately connnect with. WHen it comes to creating slogans for banners t shirts or whatever, you will have an endless supply of treatments with all of the visual phrases and quotes. In addition the animation potential takes it to the next level as the eye can wink, blink, look around, shed a tear, roll, make crazy circles or just softly change colors from blue to brown. I thought it would be nice to see the iris look different every time it blinks. Everytime it opens you could have differnet looking eye even a cat eye also the reflection in the the eye could be a differnt icon each time it opens like the previous exclamation mark or anything round jsut for fun, the earth, bowling ball, a clock etc. If you had a banner on othersites that shows a blood shot eye and a phrase about insomnia or ...Tired of reading software manuals? come to TG! Maybe something on staying focused, sharing your vision, See the results etc. Lastly, having an icon that conveys communication and visualization clearly defines your name and gives you something real to hang your hat on.
Thanks again for an outlet to create!
Might look nice on top of aligator skin. Maybe for a head line that says lets take a look at texture techniques..
A few changes

Sound area with little notice. still here in the Northwest and first chance to use a computer.....had to see what else all these creative minds from this forum had put in the contest
Good luck

Since nothing has happened yet, I'll slip this one in - the only difference is caps put on the T and G.
Some good designs here! It's been fun.

hahahahahaha, good luck to all of you and thank you talkgraphics for this fun opportunity to JUST GO NUTS!!!!
Hi everyone,
The competition will close at 1pm BST today. So if you have any last minute entries, now is the time to post them.
Thanks
The competition is now closed.
Thank you so much for all your hard work, and it's annoying that I can't choose five logos. I will now have great difficulity in choosing which one of the many great logos will be the centre of TalkGraphics branding for many years to come.
I will announce the winner in due course.
Thanks
Antony
