see? I'm not the only one waiting... cameras and telescopes work in the daytime too.
Maybe he is out taking a picture or two... With my luck it will be that 300LB woman catching a tan down the block from mikey... she is the closest thing to a moon that Mikey could find in the daytime. :D
nope you are going to have to wait :D
these had better be good.... making us wait....
hey John, I see you're a fellow scorpio... should have guessed

Hey all. I stumbled accross this thread earlier this month when I was debating whether to buy a Canon S2 IS or the Sony H1. After seeing Maya's moon shots with her H1 and some others on other forums and after trying both cameras in Best Buy, I got the H1. I'll post some pics once I learn how. Anyways great pics everyone.
Welcome aboard mmicah3 :D -- glad to hear of another photo enthusiast joining in (Congrats too on the new H1!!! :D ) you're going to really love that camera!!! I recently got the tripod Sony has just put out in conjunction with the H1 advertisements -- the one which can be adjusted for either normal heights or extra low to the ground (7 1/8") shots n' macro type stuff. I'm very happy with it and as it's collapsable into a small profile and light weight it's really a handy one to take anywhere.
Hey Mike, how's the scope working? If you've got any questions I'll try to help, or send a PM.
Okay, let's stand back everyone and let Mikey get his bearings with this new apparatus...... it's got LOT'S of adjustments to learn and figure out. ;)
Your first view of the moon through the scope is gonna really impress ya! :D
Mikey!
I saw you pointing that scope in mayas direction. You behave young man and point that thing where it should be pointed... :D
It rained on me last night too... couldn't even get a lightning shot. :(
WElcome to the dark side... mmicah3! Can't wait to have a look at your pics. :)
Don't worry about Risto tho... he still looking through the wrong end of his camera... No wonder his shots never turn out... :D
