A micro fly. I must admit I have an affinity for photographing flies of all sizes.

Don't know what this is, but it's 1/16 of an inch long.

Time for some regular size flies. A house fly.
Attachment 114187
A horse fly. Some horse flies have great colors in their eyes.
I took some decent shots of this one, so I thought I'd share a few different angles.

Instead of a micro insect, today I thought I would go to the other end of the spectrum and post a photo of the largest tiger moth I have seen to date.

That's better Mark. What is that stuff coming out of it's back end? Gas, toilet paper, what? :D
Brilliant photos Mark, how many young does the wolf spider have? there seems to be a hell of a lot on her back (if that's the right term) and what is that coming out of the Leaf Hopper, looks like ectoplasm :D
Stygg
Larry and Stygg,
Wolf spiders usually carry several dozen spiderlings until they are old enough to fend for themselves.
The leafhopper nymphs secrete a waxy substance that forms a "tail".
This Argus beetle larva actually does carry its poop around.
LOL Leave it to me to have a photo of one laying about.
