Re: July 2013 Tips and Tricks: How to Draw a Photorealistic Bottle Cap
Yes maybe the CMS would like to be too clever :)
No problem at all Gary, I can see the tutorial in any other browsers. According to this link http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp 1.7% of users can have maximum this. It is pity anyway that there are so lot of browsers and devices which in summary makes the web publishing testing so hard and time consuming.

Well, it does for me.

This method below anyway I did not know at all, instead always used to set the no color for the circle line, but good the be aware also like that
"you’ll see “Many” as the Line width description on the Infobar. At any time, you can set this to None from the drop-down list so the controlling circle is hidden."
Re: July 2013 Tips and Tricks: How to Draw a Photorealistic Bottle Cap
csehz, that really is brilliant. =D>
Looks better than mine.
Is that the name of a popular beer in Hungary?
Re: July 2013 Tips and Tricks: How to Draw a Photorealistic Bottle Cap
Rik thanks but you deserve the appreciation, I just followed the steps.
No the "dobre piwo" also goes after your example, because it means good/cool beer on the language of my wife which I continuously have to practice living in Poland, so even on the Xara examples :D In hungarian that would mean not too long text because that would be shortly "jó sör" :)

Re: July 2013 Tips and Tricks: How to Draw a Photorealistic Bottle Cap
Hi Rick, interesting way you go. I had to make a mockup of a beerbottle with a redesigned label for a customer. I think by myself to do this only in DP9 and only vectors. I missed in Xara a gradiant-mesh-fill-tool but I would do it with Xara. A cap print and its mockup was stil the purpose. After I was ready i read today You tut in xaraxone.
So I share my mockup with all Xara users on this board.

Thank You very much! Your tut is fine but we in Germany have a other industry standard for bottle caps, I think so. If I wrong correct me please.
I'd make my mockup before You post Your tut, so I created the cap with only 4 objects and the blend-tool. The attachet JPGs i generate yesterday.
There are many ways to create fantastic thinks in Xara and I think here is the right place to learn one from other.

Hi Ernie.
My hope is that lots of new users of Xara products can see that it's relatively easy to produce good results.
There are many ways to do the same thing, which I'm sure an Xpert like you already knows. :-bd
