*sigh* "A boy and his toys"...I know the phrase well, because Barbara uses it on me every half hour.
So what's not to like with a combination Shop Vac/chain saw?

I would have to say that I like my toys and Lynn knows it!
Though a Chain Saw would not be on my Christmas wish list!!!
But, hey! Each to their own! ;))
Steve: It's a 'Dear Santa' wish list. Put them up here (as many as you like) and then get your partner to have a look at the thread and you never know, you might just get it?!
Mind you. I think I'm pushing my luck a little bit, but, you never, never know?!

The funny/sick thing is that idea came off the top of my head (without the assistance of a chainsaw) because back in 1994, PC magazine was doing a round-up of the WORST Christmas ads, and one was, "Give him the gift he'll really love [a Nordic Woodsman chainsaw, or whatever]...THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT!!!
Yeah. Right.
That was the Christmas I started wishing for World Peace.
HURRY! ONLY 387 SHOPPING DAYS until next Christmas!!!

Nice one Rik, my Wharfedale speakers have been blasting it out since 1973 and still going strong. Here's my wish for Christmas. Oh by the way nice artwork!
Aha! Bouton fonts surface again! :)
I believe that Tabian owns Xara 3D: the typeface on his card is "Whimsy", something I gave to The Xara Group years ago, based on HOUSE Brand's FUNhouse, at least in spirit.
If you don't have Xara 3D but like the font:
1.) I feel sorry for you.
2.) Merry Christmas: Opentype and TrueType versions are attached.
My Best,
Gary
My first set of speakers were Goodmans. They went together with my Trio receiver and Garrad turntable.
You're in the Highlands?
My wife comes from Kilmarnock and that's not too far from the Highlands and I have friends who live in Stirling.
So, I have been to the Highlands and it's not that cold up there, friend!
Thanks for joining in and the addition of the Holly is a nice touch and it's well placed. Adds to the image rather than detract from it.
And I would have to say that 'two trees' is not much to ask for!
Or, have I not understood something about the Highlands?!
That's amazing Gary and thanks for posting the font for everyone.
I have 'Whimsy TT'. I wonder if it's the same?
It's the same, Rik, but you might want to download my attachment anyway, because periodically I tweak typefaces. The "TT" suffix meant "TrueType" so users could distinguish it from a Type 1 or OpenType version. See, Xara 3D doesn't understand OpenType, hence a TT version.
So go buy "Christmas in Kilarny" by Bing Crosby for your spouse!

Maybe I'll get this one?!
