Re: Video problem using xara webdesigner.
Thanks for that - before I go any deeper with your file, the first mistake you have made is choosing the *wrong template* for a web site.
You have used the Blank Photo template which amongst other restrictions means [a] there is no page size and [b] you cannot add pages.
Please correct this to use a web page template.
Re: Video problem using xara webdesigner.
I will correct that and see if I can get further. Thank you!

Re: Video problem using xara webdesigner.
Hi,
Here is a quick new example. Use the "show video" to show the movie. Use the "close video" to get the error.
If I clear the placeholder with my html, the two buttons work as expected.
Thanks again. I know its me but I don't know how to fix it.

No error here (all browsers)
'Close Video' closes the movie1 (named: movie1_GB) popup fine.
Possibly the Camtasia code has introduced an error, but without the Camtasia files I get nothing.
I don't have it installed on this W7 machine, but I have a feeling there's way too much code in that placeholder.

Re: Video problem using xara webdesigner.
Yep, too much code.
Just installed Camtasia 6 to test this out again.
You only need the code between the open and close <embed tag (inclusive of tags)
Attached is an exported result from Web Designer (run index.htm) when using only the above code.
Also included is the *.web file to show this in the placeholder.
So strip everything back as shown and see how that runs for you.

Re: Video problem using xara webdesigner.
Sledger thanks for your help. With some more experimenting I found my error when using the tweak "locking pop-up" layer with my placeholder html.
I was making one new layer (the pop-up one) and putting the placeholder in that one layer. The way it needs to work is like this:
1. one layer (named video1_BG) that contains the video object on top of it.
2. A close button to release the locked pop-up (javascript:my_close('video1_BG').
When I made them as 3 objects instead of 1, it worked!
Thanks for doing all this work for me and testing my module.
