John, glad to help.
Phil thanks for the info about the ORed flags and the Shift Key option.
Thanks from me too Phil
Bill's latest ZIP fix has been inducted into the Shareware page.
Thanks Bill.
Gary
thanks Bill too - sorry thought I'd already done that :o
It's good to keep all the little add-ons and tweaks in one place, but Gary... you got the wrong one. Bill's *last* ZIP file resets the Xtreme Pro behaviour back to the Noddy default. You want his *penultimate* ZIP which changes the behaviour from Noddy to 'traditional' (for Xtreme Pro only)
Reg fix -greatly- appreciated, Bill! :)
I'd also like to express my gratitude to you Bill
Hans
I followed the information Phil posted and found a related registry key.
Making the .reg files was my pleasure and a way to repay all the help everyone here has provided.:)
Hi all,
sorry for my late thanks!
great!
regards

This is just to update everyone about how to achieve the older behaviour with bitmap fills.
The free utility program XaReg has an option to set the registry values to retain bitmap fill attributes.
Download the latest version of XaReg from the XaraXone:
