Zipped File - When I right-clicked on the desktop and clicked New and Compressed(zipped) Folder, renamed the folder and pressed return the monitor constantly blinks - I tried several time and still get a blinking monitor. I had to cancel and delete the folder to pull myself out of the system.
The title of Microsoft folder says "How to create and use compressed (zipped) follders in Windows XP. My operating system is Vista. Does this makes a difference? I'm stuck again.
Thanks for your help.
Sheila
After I do the new compressed folder on the desktop my monitor still blinks. What should I do?
Thank you for your help.

Hi Sheila, is your video on the web at all? Perhaps if you could supply a web address for a video (in any format) we could then help as you seem pretty lost at present.
Hi:
Thank you so much for understanding. Yes, I am at a loss and I certainly don't want to give up because once this gets in your blood you just keep being persistant.
The following web site is active on the internet: www.gregorystenotype.com
the video I'm working on is on the first page. Once this gets fixed I will be able to put the rest of the web site together in XWD.
Thanks for being so understanding.
Sheila
Hi:
Do you think someone could help me out? I am at a loss.
Thank you
Checking now Sheila. I will return ;)
Sheila,
I hope this helps you out.
Please study the attached .web file and all should (I hope) become clearer.
The screen shot below is what you will see when you open the attached .web file.
Also I noticed a spelling error in your video:
DISSEMBLED should really be DISASSEMBLED ;)
Hello again Shelia, I can't see any videos on your site.
I notice from the source file you're trying to call a wmv here:
This is full of errors.Quote:
file=http://file://www./gregorystenotype/Video's/Pro Cat reduced.wmv'
It should be something like:
orQuote:
file=http://www.gregorystenotype/videos/procatreduced.wmv
Notice the removal ofQuote:
file=http://www.gregorystenotype/videos/pro_cat_reduced.wmv
andQuote:
file://
altered to (stray forward slash removed)Quote:
alsoQuote:
changed toQuote:
/Video's/
apostrophes aren't allowed in filenames and it's also best to keep everything to lower case textQuote:
/videos/
Also spaces in file names should be avoided
You'd be better of renaming the video asQuote:
Pro Cat reduced.wmv
Having said all that I still can't find the video on your server.Quote:
pro_cat_reduced.wmv
