Hello Carol,
Thanks for the heads up on my website. I think my Javascript is buggy. Rather - my scripting skills are buggy. It must be the image preloading script that's not working. I will have to re-assess how I want to display the images from now on... I'll probably redo the whole site in flash.
Nothing can beat the ease of use and the beauty of transparency effects in XaraX! I thought I would put it to the test by doing the Halloween thing.
That's a beautiful scrapbook of your grandson! It almost looks as if it's a cover for a calendar.
Thanks again!
Jared

Hey Z,
Thanks for visiting my website!
It's still under construction, so any input you can give me about the site would be very helpful.
Thanks!

Hi, thought I would teleport in and post one of my latest pics. Credits for this pic also go to 1) Access for his great programs that work with Xara and 2) Rich of Boulder Creek for his untiring contributions to the forum. Without those two this pic would not be possible. The background for this one comes from one of Rich's posts (mussell.jpg) Thanks !
Happy New Year Everybody !!!

Excellent drawings guys (even your lead post Ed). Haven't had time to draw anything other than doodles here for the forum. Programming and holidays took most of my time. Okay here is the latest doodle... Playing a bit with my DVD stuff, and needed a nice clean grinch... So...

oh how weird. my 4-year-old just requested if we could watch the Grinch animated video from the library.
you are psychic, sir. and that is one fine grinch.
now, is this the grinch with his heart 2 sizes too small, or the post-christmas 1 size larger than normal?

Jared,
Welcome to Talkgraphics and welcome to your first (hopefully not last) Stop and Post! ... some amazing work ... especially on your website. You are quite talented!
Derek,
Your "droopy tulips" is one of the best things I have seen you do ... very cool http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/cool.gif
Sunland,
Nice to see some of Rich's hard work put to good use http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif ... I like http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
John,
I don't think I've ever seen a better self-portrait http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Ed, it was a very bad oversight that I didn't comment on your lead post. The green glass, shadow and lighting are great!
Most of my programing these days is writing network administration utility programs. Administrators appreciate anything that makes their job easier, so they can get that 20 hour day done in 10 or less. Writing for paying clients was too much of a pain. "Well, we really wanted this..." or "can you add blah, blah, blah, without charging us for your time."
Great work by everyone.
Jared, welcome to the forum. I enjoyed seeing the images on your site. The gray scale image of Hedy Lamarr is very impressive.

I was toying with the idea of changing my avatar, but I do not think I could capture the same feel.... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
