I think you asked this before and John explained already??
Pixelpusher, please do not flood here. You have a separate topic to discuss this idea, isn't it enough? My answer is right there: http://talkgraphics.com/showpost.php...01&postcount=3
Thanks for understanding.
So sorry, no harm meant.
I've gone to the Highslide site. I see they have different (?) ways of controlling the slide show format and attributes (html, etc.).
From a non-tech perpective, it is a bit hard for me to get the full picture of how it all works. Part of it is knowing the result I want but not finding (recongizing?) the code to accomplish it.
Maybe Talkgraphics could initiate a new forum relating to Highslides like they have for AI and CorelDRAW? Not sure if there would be enough of an interest to support doing so.
If so, perhaps someone with coding experience/understanding could create a web document in tabular format with columns headings: Attribute or function, Code, Notes/Comments/Caveats, Link to tweak/teak set, and Demo Movie (for movie links demonstrating what the code does).
The table is here: http://highslide.com/ref/
Thank you, John.

Can you show us What is missing to allow the below to work in WD6?
first placeholder where info scrolls within:
<div style="width:100%;height:100%; overflow:auto; position:absolute; left:0px; top:0px; scrollbar-3dlight-color:#f4ff00; scrollbar-base-color:#efc672; scrollbar-face-color:#cca85e;">
<div>
.........
second placeholder used to close info within:
</div></div>
Well, this code certainly works in WD6. Though I don't know if it works the way you expect it to, since I don't know what do you expect. :)
So perhaps you could start from explaining what exactly do you want to get? ;)
my index page created with XX P-5
When i open that page with WD6 i do not see the scrolls or content within.
(perhaps i've overlooked something, will umm look closer and see if i have the placeholders off the page or other tweaks from old set later on, however i've already updated site with xxp5 for today).
Having 2 of those on my main page for weekly updates and gaming news is a beautiful thing, with images linking to separate pages which appears in an iframe in middle of page.
After every update within the scrolls i need to upload entire index.
(would be much less uploading if the Content Within Scroll can be imported from separate web page that allows linked content to appear the iframe but research results says cannot be done)
nevertheless these are out-of-the world sweet!
If it works in XXP5, it is supposed to work in WD6. Perhaps you could attach your design, or example with code in question that works in XXp5 the way you want, so the we could check what's wrong with it?
