I think we're done with food. It's boring me, let alone everyone else!
I think my point is you can have a nice meal without spending anything like the cost of P&GD.
P&GD has an entirely reasonable pricepoint.
I don't think we have gone off-topic.
I find the cost of a meal against the product to be a good simile and metaphor.
Especially where someone is sampling the menu, hasn't decided to eat there and is constantly being asked to try the shrimp.
We all have different perspectives, tastes and experiences.
Here, the trick about understanding XPGP365 is akin to getting a restaurant to reveal its plans for a drive-in diner.

I think I've stumbled into a Reeves and Mortimer thread..
ah a moderator with excellent taste!
yes all thing are relative, and that is the point... to me P&GD is inexpensive, very good value; but it lacks features I need and so I don't use it myself [though I like to check out new versions]
This is exactly the same as saying I could get food in the cafe half the price of the restaurant, inexpensive, very good value... but it would not be the same.. the bottom line is not what you pay, but what you get for it, and we all want different things
"and we all want different things"
I'll have spam, egg, spam and chips. Sorry, I'll get me coat.
Bob.
and now for something completely different...... No 1: The Larch
Hi, has the upgrade link gone for this? Can't seem to find it anywhere...
that would be the first link in post#1 and then hit the 'upgrade now' button...?
ok - a glitch I guess... as long as you have it :)
Do we know if there is a Pro version on the way?
Katemoir,Angelize, could you elaborate?
Best!

If the past is any indication, maddog81, soon.
In the future with the new system, we should all get the new stuff at the same time.
I am having a few problems that so far I cannot quite figure out.
1. Is it possible to create a custom shaped mold if so how do I get it into the mold tool?
2. I cannot find the Xara Picture Editor or how to put 3rd party plugins such as filter forge, has it been renamed in 365?
afaik larry custom moulds are still done like this:
http://site.xaraxone.com/html/tony_roberts_molds.html
but to be honest I haven't looked at that featute in 365
Thank you handrawn. I have been trying that but so far no success. I'll let you know if I do.
I have the new version Photo & Graphic Designer 365. Is there no longer a "Page Curl" effect that was in previous versions? If not , this is very disappointing, as I use that function quite often in my graphics creations. I've done many searches to get an answer to this, but no one seems to talk about it. Any Help here would be appreciated. Thank-you.

Hold on to your old version if nothing more than for that effect.
It may be a filter in which case you might be able to copy it and paste it into the PSFilters folder. Or you can use FX Setup to access that folder from 365.
