Pleasure - using the bitmap tracer is the easy bit.... :D
For next time, you can always use VECTORMAGIC as I did.
It's fast and free and for me good to keep up with the work flow of converting raster to vector.
I could use it, and I could just redraw it, but lets face it, Paul probably drew it in Xara to start with. Having the Xar file is much easier all round.
Sure is.. But will the easy way keep the shine on your sig' ? ;)
Ok, ok.... I get it... From now on .xar files will be included...., can I get you anything else??? cup of coffee??, your slippers??, :D:D (just kidding)
BTW Steve, thank you for taking care of that:) And Sledger... nice job, I think we should all try to post that link as necessary as possible, it really is a very useful service:)
Drifter... Thank you, and... thank you;)
Mickie, glad you like it, excellent contribution:)
FTR: I used inkscape - quicker in this case than VM - and besides, I would not put someone else's image onto a third party server without their permission ;)
BTW, I think Stanford needs to open some more ports for VectorMagic:D Busy, busy, busy:rolleyes:
Yes agreed, provided of course that you have IS installed - if not, then uploading to VM would definately be faster than downloading and installing IS I should imagine.
But happily I did notice that VM states that any images you upload for processing are not publicly available unless you choose to share them.
You also have the option to delete them once you have processed them.
Anyway Steve, I would guess that as Paul has freely posted his scribbles to TG (a publicly viewable forum) and openly invited anyone to download them to their computers and do as they please with them, any potential copyright or permission issues are a bit null and void. ;)
Let's not get drawn into considering 'Conditions of participation' and 'legal disclaimers' in order to have bit of fun at TG...right?
Thank you for the courtesy Steve, but.... "It's a scribble":D
BTW: here is a nice list to look through for anyone interested. If inappropriate it will be deleted so......hurry up:p
