Nice work BP.
Loved the coffee mug, Steve. Rolling in money, convert your lens to a coffee cup.
Here is a scene of the Aurora I am working on.
As a kid I used to see the Southern Aurora but haven't seen it for years.

John, so many great images. They are spot on. Great skill!
I am a Kate Bush fan actually have a video of her early singles. She was unique!
Rupert
Thank you Rupert :) She'd look great performing with those sunsets/sunrises you've been getting as a backdrop :D Has the Southern Aurora stopped performing then? Read somewhere the Northern Aurora wasn't as good as twenty years ago. Makes you wonder what's going on with the Earth, doesn't it.
Added a pop-art version of this one - was going to post it in the thread Sledger started but I can't find it now!
John,
I haven't seen the Southern Aurora for years, even when the sunspot activity is high. In the 1950 it seemed to be quite frequent. Really amazing.

The Half-Fab Four ...
Yeh, they get buried quickly John.
Was this the one you were thinking of?

The second one, but I didn't realise it was 2007! Why did it pop up in New Posts?
A spammer posted to the thread on the 9th which bumped the thread. The spam post was since removed. nospam
Ah, right, makes sense. Neat image though Steve :)
Variation on post#30
Great image Rupert, and very very great works John. Here some butterflaies drew in Xtreme, exact they are only 2 butterflaies, the second one is different clones used the named colors in Xtreme. Regards BP
BP, thanks. What magnificent butterflies. I have done a couple and they take a lot of work to get realistic.
Rupert
They're beautiful BP :)
Thank you Rupert and John for your kind words, i donīt think that my butterflies are so realistic, but i will attach the xar file to play with it for you, John and any another members who need it. hope you like it. Regards BP
PS: sorry for the big file.
Thanks BP - very generous :) Interesting to see how you've used clip view.
Just completed another animation done with Toon Boom Studio and Xara Xtreme. I put a clip on my YouTube channel and the entire animation at The Family Media Channel.
Wonderful animation Zeb. :)
Thanks, Bill!
Excellent animation.
Derek
I can never get the images to display the first time.....
Thank you very much John, Tekarts your images are great, well done. Regards BP
The Scarlet Tanager is not having much luck. Not only is it shrinking, but it's now become a model for me!
@tekarts ... neat images! :)
Rupert,
I like your scene of the Aurora, but the spacing of the cross and the 3 trees on the left side all seem to be more or less equally spaced, which I find troublesome, so with all due respect I think it might be better to vary the spacing of those objects so they do not appear so equally spaced, or maybe just add another tree close to one of those you already have.
You have new model now John, well done your Scarlet Tanager. like it. Here drawing of oldtimer Car I did in Xtreme. Regards BP
tekarts and BP, well done.
I like.
busy restoring an old building the easy way ;)
Very cool restoration! I've been playing with photos too, I wanted to see if I could replicate an HDR effect with XXP5 here is what I have managed so far
Thanks Derek. I used just one photo and made adjustments and transparencies to clones. What I'd like to try next is two photos of the same scene with different aperature settings.
A cheerful one ...
@Black Panther - neat car! :)
Like the restored photos too :)
John you have captured Buster at his happiest. ;))
A face like a wet weekend, as my Grandma would say :D
Impression of an Impressionist ... an attempt at a detail from "Two Dancers on the Stage"
Thanks larry and John,.....John, I like your technique of the drawings. I tīs simple but the result is great, vry well done. I like both images. Regards BP
Thanks again BP :) I'm learning by doing these, things that may well be obvious to others [I'm a late learner :D] and one thing is what to put in and what to leave out.
John, the Degas impression is truly excellent. You seem to have established a style which is unique. Your likenesses are lifelike and your work is still readily identifiable as your own. I'm impressed!
Saludos,
Bob.
Thank you very much Bob :)
Another iconic figure ...
