My granddaughter's cheerleader...
I'm starting a new line of animated facial emojis, also. Here's a couple of samples.
I'm learning, so I have a ways to go in order to get the facial expressions, gestures and frame lengths/timing animated right.
Great work Ron ;)
Ron, those are excellent!
Phone phun.
Thank you Egg/Eric!
Thank you so much, Penny!
Yes, Gary. Phone phun pun!
I think with practice I'll improve on the ani part, but it's fun learning and experimenting.

Great Ron.
Great one, Ron. Maybe add some eye black to make him look even more fierce?
@ Ron Duke A friend of mine posted a photo of a Bentley(I think) he took at car show I thought it was was awesome. Have you ever done one? You should. in my opinion.

The car was a Bugatti , Sorry
Thank you, Larry and Boy.
Larry, I'll have a look at the file you attached.
Boy, that is a very good suggestion! Thanks.
Larry,
I looked at the jpeg, and yes, I've drawn a couple of these back in 2008. They're not very good and don't meet my present standards. Some day I'll probably produce a new updated version.
Thanks Ron, Looks good to me, especially since I have never tried to draw one and could never be as good as you. Painting I can do, computer art is not my thing.
Thanks, Larry.
Here's my latest animated emoji.
Denial!
My latest...
Ron, you are the emoji King.
I am curious how and with what you animate or morph your emojis.
Acorn
Ok,
I have a Xara file on which I have numerous emoji images that I have already drawn. From those emojis I will grab one and paste it into the first frame of the new ani.
From there I will adjust/tweak the face to the desired expression and begin from there, tweaking the facial expressions as needed.
The rest is adjusting the speed of each frame to try and get the right flow of movement.
(credit Boy for adding the "eye black" under the player's eyes)
Thank you, Acorn.
Tough looking dude, Ron!
Raspberries!!!
I had to re-work this gif multiple times to get the facial features and movements in sync.
Love the Oh, Yeah eyes Ron :)
And the door slamming. Great sequence, Ron. Perhaps a bit slow in the second half?
Thanks Eric and Boy.
My new emoji "baller".
A true Harlem Globetrotter!
:)
Slack jawed yokel
Here's a version with a little more detail...
He He. One critique Ron the tongue looks to much like a heart to my old eyes.
Thanks Eric
I gave him a gold tooth. (maybe it should be silver)
Gave the Basketball Player Emoji some shoes and shorts.
