Also, I think it would be great if it could search for text strings in a group or had an option in the dialog to enable this.

Find and Replace (Ctrl+Alt+F) still finds grouped text within the Xara design pages.

No more like Xara's for claiming a DTp capability and not following through with an acceptable UI that is understood.
We should not be delving into arcania; if the programs are not self-explanatory then the Help need to be more descriptive.
