Very clean look Christine.
Updated my Cruella and happier about the spots now.
Here's a seamless pattern I'm working on. The actual individual design element is just an upper case L using the Storybook font. I used Illustrator (Astute Graphics MirrorMe plugin) to create it.
The rest of the work is done in XP&GD10. This is still a work in progress as there is some weirdness in the pattern, it displays unexpectedly in repeating tile mode, with odd colouring in some of the shapes, but it exhibits normal behaviour in repeat inverted mode. I have included the .xar file if anyone wants to inspect/use it and this enables you to unclip it and remove the grunge texture if you want.
Bob.

Ho Bob,
The reason you're having to do an inverted fill is that your shapes must match the other on the opposite border, not have different colours, otherwise you get a shape thats say, red on the left and blue on the right.
Here's your file amended.
Thanks for spotting the problem, Egg. I honestly don't think I would have sorted that out without adult supervision!
Bob.
I am just playing with colours and shapes
Here is one of some variants.

I've posted the amended version of Bob's pattern that Egg fixed to the clipart forum. Thanks Bob for sharing your work and thanks to Egg for your part :)
That is lovely Igor!
Thanks Angelize.
One more picture - it is the same but totally different :D
