Great grungy graphics already.
Frances, I think your grunge version of your scroll is actually better than the original.
Bill, that's a bad case of verdegris on your copper text.
Regular, I like the translucency of the text reflections, what program did you use?
Hans, yours would have been equally suitable for the filters unlimited challenge.
Steve, I think your drifting grime looks at least as good as the original.
Paul I like the use of transparencies on the text fill. It's a nice rust effect.
The problem with using plugins is knowing when to stop. I had to undo a few steps with mine, as I could no longer read what it said - and I knew what I'd typed!
Saludos,
Bob.
I used one of my Dad's programs called Carrara 6 Pro. It does marvelous renders. The reflection effect was just one of the built in shaders, some sort of metal as I recall.
No matter how I tried , it still looked way too clean, so I took my double barrel shotgun and blew it full of holes. That will teach it. ;)
Awwwwww.....:( At least the chrome hubcaps seem to have escaped whatever catastrophe befell this previously beautiful automobile.
Drifter, I really like that car. haha - reminds me of a misfortune I had.
Grunge TV :)
Drat. Just spent the best part of an hour playing around with Super Bladepro and then read the bit that said "without plugins not originally included in
the program".
Don't let that stop you posting the result, Jimi. I'm sure we'd all like to see the finished product after the work you've put into it.
Saludos,
Bob.
Oh OK then. To be honest just about everything SBP does is grungy, so I guess it's a case of knowing when to stop.
Thanks for posting that, Jimi. It's not the plugin that does all the work, you have to know: A) what you are doing, and B) how to present the result. Yours looks stunning. Nice reflection, too.
Saludos,
Bob.
