Blend has to be a square - i.e distance between first two lines = height of lines :o Sorry.
as an alternative to all the good stuff so far:
make a box - set your x duplication distance to width of box and y duplication 0 - duplicate as many times as necessary - group
reset duplication distance x 0 and y to hight of row - duplicate - group
I was looking for a way to create tables.
There is a much easier process.

Bertrandh,
I received a warning when trying to view your tutorial:
See attached image.
Just create it in Word or such like and copy and pate it into Xara. Please watch as it will ask you a question ensure that you accept "enhanced metafile" and it comes in very large so use shitft with "Lock aspect ratio" on. All elements are still editable so you can change what you like or do it in Word before hand. One more thing this can also be done from any database like Excel as well! It's easy have a try. By the way Xhris's vid. works for me (that's the post previous link works, #15 post!)
Thanks, Albacore
Works a charm!
With that method being so easy, I am curious about the more "involved" methods presented.
In Excel, does this work no matter what the cell contents are?
Peace
James
It is not 'my' tutorial. I didn't record it. Only found it while searching.
didn't get the warning, but you can watch it without worries. My antivirus & firewall didn't find and virus or else.
Here is another link for the same video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTkgg...layer_embedded (don't forget to switch to 720p HD)
Thanks Bertrandh the youtube link works. The warning isn't an indication of a virus or malware, something my new router has preinstalled (old router was damaged by lightening). Money being a bit tight lately so I opted for the "Home Network" version of the router because of the lower price. Trend Micro firmware installed on the router blocks access to any site that does not meet their arbitrary "security" level. :O
