well, it's just a hobby right now, but I've been kicking around the idea of putting my best cars on CD and selling them as clip art. I don't know if that's enough though. Probably need to include lots more variety. I have done some colored animated globes...

I do not get time to hit the forums from work and that is where 99% of my work is. But what I have here at home I will throw up an example of...

I'm using XaraX to produce the graphics for my new "South-East London Screensaver", featuring the River Thames slowly color-cycling along the top edge while assorted local landmarks zoom out from their geographical locations on the "map".
Those of you who know London may recognise a Victorian concrete dinosaur at Crystal Palace Park, the Canary Wharf tower in Docklands and the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill. The dinosaur was traced by hand from a photo; the buildings were drawn freehand with reference to photos. I am going to add the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, the Dulwich Picture Gallery and a few other landmarks. The whole thing is programmed in GLPro and should end up under 1MB.

Hi Ed,
I wish I had your talent for making flyers and ads. When I've tried they are boooorrrrrinnggg! Your's make me want to read them.
John, I'm glad you like the animated gif. That came about by a request from a lady I work with. She had seen something similar on the internet and wanted one to put in her emails. It turned out that she eventually wanted a total of 14 of them, all with different colour dress.

JohnLogan,
We are all "hobbyists" at heart ... just wish I had more PLAY time. I've seen most of your posts and I like your style ... very refreshing. I saw a wonderful "hair" tutorial either on this site or XaraXone ... if I find it I will post it for you.
Ron,
Let us know when the CD is finished ... I'll be first in line to buy one http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Nice work ... keep those posts coming.
Simon,
The screensaver looks like a fun project. I've always wanted to visit England since (I am told) that the "Foreman Clan" originated there. Perhaps a screensaver would be the perfect reminder of the Heritage I never knew.

JohnR,
I never knew you had a DARK side http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif The "swamp" picture and "skull" look like something from a bad dream http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
