I use the photo of my baby
Actually, I wish that I would win a lottery or something so I can replace most of my CRT's with LCD's , it would save such an amount of space on my desk <sigh>
I think I bought the last CRT on Earth when I got my ViewSonic graphics series G90fb. I was warned that LCDs were not very graphic friendly yet (at that time). I hear that they are much better now, if not better than CRTs.
I have it sitting on a small table, 40 inches away from my face. Makes seeing the fine print hard sometimes but otherwise it would take up all my desk space.
Update:
I now use 2x 24" 16:10 LCD's (1920x1200 each).
Nancy for photography & graphics work the IPS panels are the best choice (of course they are the most expensive)
The common (cheaper) panels are mostly TN (Twisted Nematic) are not quite so good, but not terrible either (if you stick to a good brands).
You can learn more about the differences here.
Now primary is Iiyama ProLite 24 (LCD) and two CDR Sony Trinitron G420.
Sony its the best :)
2 HP w2408h for main rig. 1 ASUS 22'' for other rig.
19" Samsung LCD here.
Looking to upgrade to a bigger monitor shortly and get a dual monitor set up going.
Dell SP2008WFP 20″ LCD Widescreen Monitor
Use two Dell 20" LCD monitors -- not the widescreen but the squarer screen. Run them at 1600 x 1200. Been fairly pleased with them.
