This is sloppy from a few perspectives. First - the fact that I'm loading the page from within the US, from an IP address that's well within the Verizon FIOS IP address allocation for US customers, should be sufficient so that the site doesn't override my request for "www.xaraxone.com" and redirect me to "www.xaraxone.com/eu". While a reload of any sort is inefficient, it should at least be loading "www.xaraxone.com/us"...and as you suggest, there are more efficient ways to provide locale appropriate content without forcing a reload. This is more than a bit embarrassing when these issues occur on the home page of site for a company promoting web development software, hosting, cloud services and - tutorials...certainly makes it harder to establish credibility in the space.

Fool Disclosure: I'm not trying to divert traffic from MAGIX' mostly ignored iteration of Xara Xone over to Priester's and my achieves. If you do a search, your favorite search engine will lead you to Tales from the Archives...verrrrry scary. regardless.

Some of the goodies will return a 404, and it will most likely stay that way, sorry.
These appear to be a locations/links that'venot changed in almost 4 years, so hopefully it will remain accessible.

Taking my own post a bit off topic: selecting one of the products priced in Euros keeps me on the
www.xaraxone.com/us/ site, but shows me the page explaining that only Xara online is supported on the site -- and there are additional links to take me to Magix for a product purchase. No doubt I'm not the first to whine about this, but I do believe the way the products and branding have been handled make for further confusion -- not less. I find it mildly alarming (is that an oxymoron?) to see the phrase "...our distribution partners MAGIX Software...", which brings to mind the awful experience I've had over the years with software distribution companies like novadevelopment. I do wish that another solution had been found re: online branding for the software products, services, and websites. I can navigate through this, but it does seem suboptimal.
Anyway - back on topic: price currency needs to be aligned with country locale on the site.
Jon
Hi Jon,
Thanks for the heads up on this issue. It has been passed along to be fixed.
Kind regards,
