Cool Setup there Rich...
You know, I have yet to try and take a macro shot. I guess I should try to take one. :)
John,
I spent all day making an air system to blow the dust off my lenses. I made a air gun with a small tube to direct the air. Decided to setup some in line filters, and spent most of the day looking for a filter regulator. We put a lot of things in storage boxes during the rat hunt. I finally found it hanging on the wall in front of me. I cleaned the lenes and put them in plastic bags.
This is not for sensor cleaning, as in may cause damage.

You should really only use very low presure to begin with. How do you know you are blowing off instead of throwing something on the lenses?
The tube ID is about 60 mils, and I have adjusted the air pressure to a gentle flow. I can see the dust particles under the halogen light. I can see the particles as they are removed. Rich
sounds like it would work well enough. Are you using about 10-15 LBs/ or less? :)
John,
That is about the pressure range at the regulator. I added an inline filter that may drop the pressure a little more. I wanted to blow off with clean air, and not dusty air from a hand bulb. Rich
Snap me a shot of your blower if you do not mind... Might give me an idea or two... to steal... :D
Too busy with Monarchs and Wood birds.
I stopped for a hand air squeezer.

Nice Shots Rich... Nice Shots indeed! :D
