Re: Your Avatar - Why‽
Mine shows a liking for retro robots and spaceships. It's actually part of a tile I made for a long-defunct communal project that many TG members contributed to. I forget the name of the project, but users could reserve a square for some artwork and then make an image to continue on the images created by neighbouring cells. It was an interesting concept. One of my neighbours was Norman (parahandy) in his very early days with Xara software. I tried looking back in my TG posts for a reference to the project, but couldn't find it. The TG archives don't go back far enough, methinks.
Anyway, I liked my tile and decided to keep it as an Avatar.
[edit - I can see that my Avatar only shows the spaceship, stars and planets - the robots are cut off ]

Re: Your Avatar - Why‽
That sounds like an interesting project, perhaps we could do something like that again. I don't remember that so it may have been before I joined TG in 2007.

Re: Your Avatar - Why‽

Re: Your Avatar - Why‽
Mine was a faceless avatar that I got off another forum, it had t for twitter but I changed it to my name and added a face to try and make it more fun.

Re: Your Avatar - Why‽
Hi,
Mine is the center 'Head' from the MacGregor clan badge that is my last name. (according to my deceased father I am decendant of 'Rob' Roy) whether or not true or not I can't varify.

Re: Your Avatar - Why‽
Mine says Xara and Blender because the two (programs, Designer Pro 7 and Blender) make an ideal "couple."
The flame represents "lighting a fire to your creativity" which is a common outcome of adding Blender's 3D power to Xara's awesomeness. ;)
