Eric, I think it is lovely, and being bald doesn't come to mind. Isn't this kind of thing called minimalize or something like that??

thank you all,
and thanks jude for the the lack of hair reference, maybe coz' thats coz' i'm bald myself
ha! ha! what a pity tho' that we are constrained to drawing perfect people all the time
Used to see hair-challenged gents wearing T-shirts with that slogan.
I have to say, I especially like the hands. Anybody who can draw hands is Numero Uno in my book.
When I used to attemtp hands in an ad layout, in my advertising days, a writer I worked with called them baseball gloves! Indeed!

Be It Early So Humble...
Being follically challenged myself, I didn't even notice the lack of hair. I think it would detract from the rest of the form.

So Risto will be telling us next he prefers women with legs to ones who've been chopped off mid-thigh?
She's perfect as she is, Eric, and all the more alluring through the economy of the drawing! But what about the diagonal 'line' (bottom left to top right) through the background? Is this just a limitation of the JPEG or is it visible in the .xar?

Peat Stack or Pete's Tack?</p>
yeh pete,
i did a gradient backdrop so it's prob. a jpg limitation so i'll post the .xar file for anyone who's interested...
cheers
eric
That's absolutely lovely. You (and she) should be really proud! Penny
Hi Eric, I like it this way without the background. It looks really good. It inspired me to try a nude self portrait...Tao
Hey Eric, I liked the graduated blue background!
My question was purely from a technical standpoint, because I've sometimes found exporting to JPEG (particularly at web-friendly quality settings) to produce strange side effects like the diagonal 'line'.

Pete,
I've got my rather archaic graphics card setting on high-16 colour 1024 x 768 which does show up a lot of gradients as "bands" if i switch to "true colour" it all goes smooth as silk but the performance suffers, so i'm not sure it's a jpg thing..
TAO!
eerm...er...yes ...yes very...erm erm you know..
