Re: Best Settings for A4
That all worked out well and I’m much happier with it now, so thanks again. :) Just one more question if you don’t mind having your brains picked a little more. I would like to print of some bits on a HP laser printer that I have at work. My G5, with all my art on it is however at home, so is it possible to save the pictures onto a data stick and transfer them to the printer. If so what is the best format to save them as?

Re: Best Settings for A4
Froim painter I would be inclined to use .tif for printing generally
It will depend on what program you will use to print them from of course
If you are going to use photoshop for example , then psd would be best

Re: Best Settings for A4
Thanks for that Steve. It would be coming out of painter but the printer is not connected to the computer running painter. If I have the image saved as .tif on a data stick will it be possible to print it on any computer that has a decent printer attached to it? :)

Pete
if it is a windows machine you can print .tif saved from painter simply by right clicking on the file icon, selecting print and following the print wizard instructions
[ok up to XP - I'm assuming it still works on vista]
alternatively you can load it into a graphics program and print from there - most support .tif
you could even insert it in Word and print it, but I don't know how well it would turn out... :)
