Thank you Rik.
Another one from me.
In fact, is there a ball that's lighter than a Table Tennis Ball?
I can't think of one?
That's awesome Rik. Here is one from me (The ET's have given me a day off from work :D)
what could give more light than the sun!
here is another one. I've included the wire frame so you can see how I did it. I didn't change the shape of any of the shapes I used from the set provided in last months challenge) it's all done with blends, gradient fills, feathering and transparencies. I don't think I broke the rules but I may have bent them just a bit.
When making blends I made sure to use two of the same shape so all the blend is doing is making copies of consecutively smaller sizes. At the top of the candle it appears that I have squashed the ellipse but as you can see in the wire frame I didn't. I just used an elliptical transparency to make parts of it transparent, but the whole unaltered shape is still there.
Oh and perhaps the shapes file should be included in each monthly challenge so members who join in on this in future challenges don't have to go searching for them.
Frances: The sun definitely gives us LIGHT.
I had also thought of doing that, but, opted for the light bulb I did in Post #4.
I love that candle. Beautiful.
Also, your suggestion that the shapes file should be included in every month's challenge, is a good one.
That's absolutely beautiful Francees, but unfortunately you not only bent the rules, you did actually break them

Attachment 112838Using the any or all of these simple shapes alone, in combination, or, use the same shape as many times as you wish.
The size, color, and value may be changed well as rotating whatever you need to do to do.
You may not change the shape or use transparencies, but, you may use clipview on the final composition.

Very impractical traffic lights, all on at once!
