All this is, is a set of extrusions.
Okay, okay, the background is a painted-over photo and the eyes are drawn.

I'd be somewhat happy to post the paths in a Xara file. Let me know.

Hi Igor!
DMesh Fun=YES!
BTW, there is another fun and useful program that is good to use in Xara whenever you need a steam effect.

Escape Motions Flame Painter.
Can create a PNG with transparency to then place in Xara Designer.
version 4. About $90
Okay, some apologies here. I bought in with version 1, so I've been upgrading and didn't look at the retail price. I suggest that you do download the free trial, and if you like what it can do for you, subscribe to their newsletter, because like the Filter Forge people, Escape Motions runs flash sales and deep discounts you won't know about except for their newsletter.
FWIW, you can import SVG files and also create vector art to run your strokes through. Version 4 is a big upgrade—my upgrade price was about $35...so if you like the company's products expect yearly upgrade discounts...and you OWN the product, no subscription stuff.
My Best,

You are the man, Gare. Always enjoy seeing what you come up with next..
Thanks, gray!
Shortly before Robert Indiana died, a shell corporation tried unsuccessfully to claim ownership of his LOVE sculpture. After a little research, I've concluded that the sculpture and the various prints issued are Public Artwork—that's the designation—so I carefully reproduced the art in one of the many color schemes I've seen on the web.
This is attached and for the Xara community, in case you'd like to share a little love. :)

By the way, it's also not too hard to reproduce Mr. Indiana's sculpture, on display at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
First, find a copy of the Clarendon Bold font.
Assemble the characters in the configuration the sculpture displays, convert them to curves and then extrude them, see my example here.

Have fun and a lot of love!
My Best,

Igor flattered me this morning with a PM that contained Robert Indiana's sculpture, except he spelled out GARY !
I want to return the flattery, my friend!
You are a great artist, and a great person for sharing.
Considering our audience on tg is about 12.

I did not see it yesterday, and as a Mod I can see what's deleted, except when a member self-deletes a post.
Hopefully, Igor, if this is what you posted yesterday, I am flattered and hope you don't mid me sharing the graphic you sent me in PM.
