Re: Wordpix
This may just be paranoia but I noticed years ago that a lot of modern egg 'cups' - more like little saucers - are designed Lilliputianally so that if one is Blefescuan, like me [nature? nurture?], the egg falls over. A conspiracy of Brobdingnagian proportions that David Icke has never even touched on!
I did not know that about margarine - thank you :) - I shall tell my dietician.
Hope it wasn't a bad surprise :D

From a big endian to a little indian.
So, we know now that the egg came before the chi... oh,
wait a moment, there was an earlier chicken, wasn't there?
Happily I can eat this dish as often as I like.
Healthy stuff, good with mint sauce mixed
with plain yoghurt, and a salad.

Bob.
ps: the font is napapiiri again, used in the banana posting.

Re: Wordpix
That's got my taste buds jumping (or whatever they do!) :) Very nice. That font is another very flexible one.
Had a very lazy day falling asleep in front of the telly :p so I'm only just getting my brain in gear.

Re: Wordpix
The 2nd pic is why I need the first! Up all night trying to replicate the transparent bevel with image - tried all permutations (well .... obviously I didn't!) - going to try again now so if you hear howling from afar to the north you'll know what it is

Re: Wordpix
Worked it out! Finally! Looks so simple now. It's here if you want a look.

Re: Wordpix
The font, especially the C works well.
I've not seen anything posted here that looks like how
you've used the bevel tool.
Perhaps that nice Mr. Priester knows if there's something
on the Xone.
Gone quiet here recently, perhaps everyone is stunned by
Lee's easy stroll from the last 8 to the final. I've not been
convinced by his performances however, and still back
Selby to win the final.
I seem to have lost inspiration at the moment. I'll just give
it a bit more time. I've been trying to work out what taste-buds do.
Saludos,
Bob.

Re: Wordpix
I thought the C would work because it's got the 'lip', but I like the font for wordpix because the letters curve and so can imply shapes well.
It was the converting to editable shapes bit that I kept missing with the bevel thing - transparency is straight forward but getting the image to repeat was the aim. Not a lot of use I guess but it's fun to mess with ;) Posted xar because I'm sure folk here will be able to make something of it :) I learn a lot from little things like that which might be adaptable. It's learning what the tools do, isn't it.
You backed Selby at the start, didn't you ... can't see him losing it now - Lee has seemed lacking in motivation all tournament ironicaly.
Taste-buds get the synapses snapping, that's all I know of 'em! They're quite easily confused though.

It's a good job I didn't design the real one

Re: Wordpix
This is a busy old thread. Here's my attempt. Not sure it follows any rules or not?

Re: Wordpix
Nice one :D It follows thread rules fine, unless there's a tesseract [5D] font out there, can only guess if it follows black hole rules :)
