Every new platform needs an application to discern itself and let folks see what new possibilities lays ahead. Apple had Freehand, MS-Dos had Lotus 1-2-3, Windows 95/NT had Word and lots of games, XP had Nothing (v1.0..) and now we have a new platform called the Tablet PC. Some of you may have seen this amazing gear, some of you don't. I'll beam you up: imagine a plain laptop, open it so that the screen is completely up, now rotate the screen and fold it even further so that the back of the screen is flat with the keyboard. What you have, now, is a laptopcomputer with the screen facing outward. The smart part is that the screen is an overlay wich is capable of tracking a pen. Think of your laptop as a giant PDA.
Corel (they again...) have developed an application for this super-PDA called Tablet PC. And som other folks have tried to make a fast and slick graphical app which is capable of sketching. But none of them come near to Xara X.
Please, please. Marketeers at Xara: go and market this app as the ulimate TabletPC killer-application. Build some extra features in X, like automatically straightening of sketched lines and you have yourselves a nice little milk cow the size of the Matterhorn! It only takes some little effort in placing the ad's!

Just thought I'd add that not all tablet PC's have pressure sensitive screens (all would be able to track pen position but not all track pressure). For graphics, I'd make sure it was one with that technology http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif . I'm not sure if any can detect pen tilt and other features (like the wacom intous can) although wacom supplies the technology for many of the Tablet PC types.
I like the fact that the ones I've read about can have the screen display mode switched from landscape to portait orientation http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
