Image grab of websites using web addressses in social media
Many use social media outlets to promote their websites. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram the most popular)
Upon posting a website link made with Pro+ into Facebook, Facebook or Instagram, social media is not grabbing an image to associate with the index page, resulting in a blank post.
Is there anyway that a web site can be built to improve the image grab of social media outlets?
I really do try to name my images, and provide meta data. It’s a baffling problem.
Many thanks
-Bill

In the lastest version or two of Designer Pro+ there is a feature Open Graph. This lets you specify an image that will preview with your link in social media.

Excellent Gary. I will search that out. I’ll search the drop downs first.

Bill, you can roll your own.
Look at https://ogp.me first to understand the structure of OG.
Then try using https://freecodetools.org/ogp/ & https://freecodetools.org/twitter-card-generator/
Followed with a Paste into the website/Page Code (head).
