Disabling “Update Service Period Expired” dialogue box on DPX 18.5

Hi folks

This is for those with DPX18.5, whose Update Service Period has Expired and is now getting the “Update Service Period Expired” dialogue box. This dialogue box has no selection box to tell it “Do not Show Again”.

In the Windows firewall, set an outgoing rule to block “C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Designer Pro X\18\DesignerPro.exe” from accessing IP Address 167.71.131.225 on ports TCP ports 80, 443

If something breaks in DPX, you can write a script (using netsh) to temporarily disable the firewall rule. With this block in place, I can still upload my DPX written website to my custom FTP server.

I also did this for a previous version of DPX (16 I think), but the IP address changed. The above one is for DPX 18.5.
