adding a Copyright tag line
Wondering how others are adding a 'Copyright' line on the foot of their sites?
Looking for something rather small in font, like Arial 6pt, on the bottom right.
I tried to do this in HTML code in a Placeholder but only get the words not the C symbol.
Here is some example code I tried, stock, that did not work...
<footer> <small>© Copyright 2018, Example Corporation</small> </footer>
...note: some a posting with an XAR file but won't open without buying other software, so hoping to find simple drop in code and where

Re: adding a Copyright tag line
You don't need coding or a place holder.
Create footer rectangle > right click 'Web Sicky/Stretchy' > 'Full Width'
Use the text tool to type whatever you want
Alter the font size by highlighting the text, open the Text Size drop down menu and type 6 into the box > Enter
Either grab a copyright icon from the web, or type C and then create a circle around it
Marquee select rectangle, text and icon - File > Page Options > Auto Fit To Page > remove check from Automatic > select Bottom radio button
Marquee select rectangle, text and icon - right click > Repeating Object > Repeat On All Pages

Or use the combination Alt+0169 (using the numpad).

Folks,
Thanks for the replies. Simple text was my thoughts also.
Was just curious if anyone was doing something different.

Ctrl + Alt + C = ©
There are many different ways to word a copyright line. Find an example you like and use it. I always use ©gwpriester with no date.
Re: adding a Copyright tag line
Hello,
I have been a publisher for over 30 years now. Making a copyright claim requires a date (otherwise it is legally vague), I would suggest this format: “Copyright © 1999–2020 [copyright owner's name]. All rights reserved.”, that is from the first year of copyright claim up to the current/latest year of copyright claim.
